Behavioral Health Technician
**Job Summary:**

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) will play a crucial role in supporting clients through their recovery process. The BHT will work closely with clinical staff to provide direct care, monitor client progress, and ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**

- Monitor and document client behavior and progress.
- Facilitate group activities.
- Provide support and crisis intervention as needed.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to address client needs and concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a behavioral health or similar setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Basic knowledge of mental health and addiction recovery principles.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
